"So happy I was able to grab some goodies at this spot a couple weeks ago! I came in a little before 3 PM and got the egg salad, spicy crab salad, and unagi inari and the BBQ pork onigiri. All the items were delicious and a solid choice! The onigiri did feel a little dry, but that might have been because it was at the end of the day and has been sitting for a bit? I'm a little sad I didn't get to try the spicy tuna, corn and cheese, and spicy salmon inari. I would definitely grab the unagi inari again in the future. My recommendation is to definitely come here early if you're picky about your choices. Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5"

"Great food for a good price! Love that all the items are able to eaten on the go. Get there early as they are popular and sell out frequently so you can get your pick of the full selection. Everything is great quality and tastes amazing. The staff was super kind and helpful with questions. I got the unagi inari and loved it along with a few other items that were delicious and the chrysanthemum tea which was so refreshing. 10/10 I’m really looking forward to going back soon"

"In a nutshell; good selection of rice wrapped treats that isn't sushi. Isn't located in the best place as parking may be tricky or limited at times especially if businesses close to it may get busy. It's also more of a takeout spot, there are a table or two inside with just a pair of chairs so if you're lucky and I wouldn't count on relying to eat inside. Now the musubis , inaris and onigiris are all a delight and if I'm ever in the area I wouldn't mind trodding over to grab a musubi or two. Employees were all great and kind enough to answer any inquries. Overall really good stuff and looking forward to them to grow."

"I heard about this place on Instagram. I thought I would give it a try. Waited a few minutes in line and was greeted kindly. I was very excited to come to this place, because this is one of the very few Onogiri spots that exist in Sacramento. We tried the salmon & Tuna rice balls and they were pretty average in taste but excellent in quality in meat. The Japanese sausage and spicy sausage were pretty tasty & juicy. I like that they have their own sauce station, it was pretty convenient. It was kinda pricey for your average Onogiri but I would say it was good in general. There is room for improvement especially for a cute establishment like this one. I really hope they read the reviews and learn as they operate throughout this establishment. I do see a bright future for this gem. If I were to say this, with all my heart, when you eat Rice Theroy’s food think of a home cooked meal made by a parents love. Thank you and enjoy!"

"This was such a great experience! I love the idea of a shop with a quick bite to eat. I would have loved to dine here, but the place is really small and it can get packed really quick. The servers are so nice and informative. I wanted to try everything they served, but there was too many options to choose from, I got mainly salmon and unagi products. My all time favorites were the Unagi inari, Ahi Tuna inari, and spicy salmon inari (needs soy sauce)! I usually love salmon and cream cheese, but the salmon and cream cheese onigiri wasn't for me. It wasn't bad or anything, I just think that the other foods tasted so much better, lol. And you can never go wrong with an unagi musubi. I'll definitely be back for more!"
